It’s officially summer and that means it’s time to start experimenting with frozen drinks. If you’re getting bored of froze, this frozen Moscow mule recipe is the perfect way to spice things up. So grab a blender and your favourite vodka and get mixing!
These ginger-based drinks are a go-to in the summer months in our household. However, when a heatwave hits, sometimes I’m looking for something even more refreshing.
That’s why we decided to take the mule to a whole new level. By blending in the ice, you get the perfect spice-filled slushy that will freeze out the heat.
The best part about these frozen cocktails is that you can mix up the recipe any way you want. Add some frozen raspberries to give it a fruity twist, or switch it up by adding some tequila.
No matter which way you choose to go, getting the perfect summer drink that will impress your friends is always a promise.
Here’s What You Need To Make This Frozen Moscow Mule Recipe:
Serves: 1 (Double the recipe if you’re drinking with a friend)
- 2 shots of your favourite vodka*
- 2 and 1/2 cups of ice
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 250 ml of ginger beer (we use The Great Jamaican non-alcoholic spicy ginger beer)
- Mint for garnish
*The great thing about Moscow mules is that you can make it with almost any alcohol you prefer. Switch it up with rum or tequila if you’d like.
*Feel free to add a variety of other ingredients. Want a raspberry frozen mule? Add 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries!
How To Make It:
This drink could not be simpler.
Add the vodka, lime juice, ginger beer, and ice into a blender. Mix until slushed.
Pour into a cup, top with mint, and serve!
