On the third day of Christmas, Tipsy Theory gave to me a cranberry gin recipe.
With the holiday season right around the corner, it’s time add a little twist to your favourite classic drinks.
While gin smashes are often a popular summer drink, we’ve added a little twist that makes it scream Christmas.
With cranberries and hints of orange, you will definitely be reaching for a second, and maybe even a third, glass.
The best part about this recipe, is that it’s also super easy to make. So it’s the perfect quick fix for your next holiday party.
All you need is some frozen cranberries, oranges, gin and a cranberry flavoured soda and you’ll have a festive drink made in seconds.
Happy sipping!
Here’s What You Need To Make The Cranberry Gin Recipe:
Serves: 1
- 1/2 cup of frozen cranberries
- 1/2 of an orange, freshly squeezed (save the other half for garnish)
- 1 oz of Dixon’s Orange Gin
- Top off with cranberry ginger ale or soda (We use Canada Dry)
While it’s recommended that you stick the recipe for the proper holiday flavour, you can swap the booze for another orange flavoured liquor.
Feel free to also add a different cranberry flavoured beverage.
How To Make It:
1-Pour frozen cranberries into a glass
2- Pour gin and freshly squeezed orange juice over top.
3- Top with cranberry ginger ale (or other cranberry beverage) and mix together.
4- Garnish with an orange slice and serve!
