If you’re looking for a mouthwatering burger to chow down on, you’ll want to check out this local brewery in PEC.
Matron Fine Beer is a hidden spot located in Bloomfield that is nestled just off the beaten path.
One you travel about 200 metres down the hidden lane, you’ll spot the adorable location just across the street from sprawling farm fields.
You can sit on their massive outdoor patio (or their indoor seating) and enjoy some suds.
Some of their current cans include IPAs, the Bobo Farmhouse Wheat, the Muff Darkbier and the Yeasayer Lagerbier.
While the spot is open seven days a week, they also serve food from Wednesday to Sunday that is worth stopping in for.
Suggested for you!
Everything is made from scratch and anything that isn’t sourced by the brewery is taken from other small businesses.
Some must-trys include their breakfast sando, chicken shawarma sando, and a snack tray. The PEC brewery also has an amazing burger that you don’t want to miss.
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also call ahead to reserve a table.
If you can’t make it out to Prince Edward County, you can also find Matron’s beer in a variety of other locations across the province.
Some spots in Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton and Guelph also sell their cans. To view a full list of locations you can visit their website.
