Looking to cool off this summer? Wine slushies are here and they are one of the hottest drinks of the season.

Traynor Family Vineyard, located in Prince Edward County, has just announced that they will be serving the beverage all summer long and it comes in two different flavours.

Currently, you can choose between the Piquette Fruit cocktail and Green Meanie and Peach.

You can sip on a 200mL-sized mason jar full of vino goodness for $6.

The winery plans on having wine slushies every summer season from May long weekend until the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, so you have plenty of time to try out the creation.

If you want to know more about the flavours, the company told Tipsy Theory that “the Piquette is a blend of grape skins that we blend with water and cider to make a light refreshing ‘little wine’ dry and easy drinking.”

“The Green Meanie is a Vidal-based Pet-Nat style so fermented in bottle and allowed to carbonate naturally while becoming totally dry in the process.”

If you’re looking to celebrate your upcoming wedding, Traynor Family Vineyard is also booking Bacherloette slushie parities, where you can get a 4L jug of slushie and charcuterie for 10.

The experience is one hour and is hosted on their shaded patio. It is currently running for $150. You can find out more about their experiences on their website.

However, this isn’t the only spot that is becoming creative with how to serve some vino.

Stoney Ridge Winery in Niagara is serving up wine freezies for $5 each and you can get flavours such as Mimosa and Sangria.
