This Ontario Winery Lets You Do A Junk Food Tasting With Wine & Treats

Calling all sweet tooth lovers! You can do a junk food tasting in Niagara this summer and it will combine both wine and treats.

Konzelmann Estates Winery lets you get the best of both worlds, by pairing their wine with the best sweets. For $20 you can sign up to get three premium VQA wines, each paired with a gourmet snack.

You can look to snack on some ruffle chips, yogurt pretzels and popcorn, which will come with a sparkling Reisling, a Gewurztraminer and a Pinot Noir.

However, if you aren’t a salty junk food tasting lover, there is also a chocolate flight you can enjoy. The wines will be paired with three different  Ghirardelli chocolates for you to sample.

The estate asks that you book for the tastings in advance on their website. Each tasting will last around 45 minutes.

Of course, this isn’t the only thing you can do next time you find yourself at Konzelmann.

They also have a vineyard dome experience where you can sip wine in your own private tent that overlooks the vines and the gorgeous waters of Lake Ontario.

The experience lasts around an hour and also comes with locally sourced charcuterie and breads, making it the perfect way to unwind and relax.

Or, you can book your own table on their patio and try out their famous Peachwine Sangria and other wines. This experience also comes with a dip trio board that is perfect for afternoon snacking.
