If you’re a lover of wine, cheese and jazz, you’ll want to check out the latest fundraiser at Queen Bean that is happening this September.
The Sip, Savour, And Socialize Fundraiser is taking place on Tuesday, September 20 starting at 5:30 p.m. Both Colaneri Estates and Upper Canada Cheese Company have also partnered with the event.
The night will kick off with complimentary appetizers and cocktails, before launching into the first tasting at 6:45 p.m.
During the night, there will be five types of wine from Colaneri Estates, paired along with five kinds of cheese from the Upper Canada Cheese Co.
Live jazz music will start at around 7:20 p.m, where you can enjoy the sounds of Dually Noted. During the night, guests will also be able to socialize and network with others.
There will also be a door prize raffle and a 50/50 draw. Part of the proceeds of the night will be going to the Walker Family Cancer Centre, as September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
You can purchase tickets for the event on Queen Bean Cafe’s website. Tickets are currently $85 per person, plus HST.
Nestled in historic downtown Niagara Falls, this local spot specializes in charcuterie boards and signature sandwiches. From a mini grazer (made for one person) to their large options (for 8-10 people) there are boards for every occasion.
On a normal day, you can also stop in for some breakfast. Some must-try items include their famous breakfast sandwich, smoked Canadian salmon and cream cheese bagel, avocado toast with egg, and more.
